Glamorous is the woman who shows confidence while wearing an elegant, long gown, an impeccable hairstyle and well-planned makeup colors for the evening’s ensemble. Think back to the 1940s, when Hollywood actresses such as Ava Gardner and Ginger Rogers achieved imitable glamour. These ladies were rarely out of character and almost always seen looking and acting their best, even off screen. While that effortless style is reserved for special occasions today, modern women know how to attain glamour. At MIDSOUTH, we prepared our annual party-ready looks for 2010 at the Secret Services Salon. We played with hair, makeup and dresses all day long, yet never attended a party. Any woman knows that the event or party will be memorable, but getting ready is half the fun.
